I'm an advocate for persons with disabilities, have worked in mental health for 13 years, and am a children's author. In 2016, I acquired a concussion, which sparked the creation of Hope and Harmony. Feeling heard, believed and belonged were important pieces to my recovery. I hope to be a companion along your journey.

I offer both private counselling and coaching services to meet your unique needs. The services are trauma-informed, person-centered, and mindfulness-based, and include cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance commitment therapy and body-centered approaches. These therapeutic approaches are aimed at helping you move in the direction of your values, while reframing unhealthy thoughts and patterns and developing an understanding of your nervous system.
I specialize in helping women diagnosed with chronic pain, concussion, anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief. In addition, I provide support to family members navigating the challenges of caregiving.
As a certified counsellor/coach, I have both professional and personal experience and use a gentle approach, work collaboratively with you to identify your goals and develop a customized treatment plan. I also place a strong emphasis on building a trusting, inclusive, safe, and supportive therapeutic relationship.

I work with families of all sizes and backgrounds to help them communicate better, build capacity and understanding of persistent concussion symptoms and other mental health conditions.
Group therapy can be a powerful way to connect with others who are going through similar challenges. The group therapy sessions provide a safe and supportive environment where you can share your experiences and learn from others. I offer a group therapy sessions for couples who are looking for concussion and chronic pain management and mental health support.
Trauma, grief, and stress can become stuck in the body, as holding patterns and conditioned tendencies that eventually hinder your ability to process the past and move forward. Mind Body coaching uses both top-down and bottom-up approaches to transform pain and integrate new information, so you can live life with more ease and gain a better understanding of who you are amid your circumstances. Through mindful practices, breathwork, subtle movement, and grounding exercises, you will begin to connect with your nervous system and rebuild a relationship with yourself, to feel more empowered.
I am passionate about spreading awareness and providing education about disabilities through storytelling, creating trauma-informed and inclusive organizations. Hope and Harmony values creating community and giving back to the community. Every month wellness workshops are held in the community or at a specific location to raise funds for non-profit organizations locally and globally and at the same time provide meditation, mindfulness and yoga workshops for all ages and abilities. I respect that grief is unique to all individuals, is not a linear process and can feel ambiguous when it comes to injury recovery and loss of health.
